Total Solar Eclipse on August 12, 2026 - Spain

Astro Evasion invites you to enjoy the most beautiful astronomical spectacle that nature can offer. This Wednesday, August 12, 2026, for 1 minute and 49 secondes, the moon will interpose itself between the Earth and the Sun. To observe complete night in the middle of the day, you must be located on a narrow strip of 302km that will pass through northern Spain.

The observation of the total eclipse will be done on the line of centrality during its passage in the Northwest of Spain (region of Oviedo) where the weather conditions promise to be favorable. If necessary, we will decide to move if the weather forecasts are not good for the planned observation area.
